The Garden of Biblical Samaria in Eshel Hashomron was established in 2001 by the Ephraim Roots Foundation, in response to growing ignorance and a lack of knowledge about the true roots of Israel. The Members of the Ephraim Roots Foundation, are dedicated to supporting the development of the Biblical sites in Judea and Samaria (Biblical Israel ). The organization has invested considerable effort and money in the establishment of The Garden of Biblical Samaria In this project, Jews and Christians alike can walk, smell, and taste the Bible while learning about the right of the Jewish people to the land. This Garden is an educational project in which many Israelis and non Israelis will learn the roots of Israel.
 The Foundation's board (an international board that includes members from Israel, Norway, and Germany ), under Gelbard's leadership, came to the conclusion that if the world continues with their ignorance about the Bible, we (the people of Israel) might lose this land. Without the bible and without considering the roots of Israel, there is no justification for the people of Israel to be in this part of the Middle East.
A Nation without roots is like a flower in water. A flower can be anywhere when it's in water, but it survives over time only where it has roots. Similarly, a nation's homeland is where a nation has its roots. The Garden of Biblical Samaria is the only Biblical Garden in the world where you can walk, smell and feel the Bible wherever you look.
